```html What is the plot of Singham 3?
The movie begins with a debate in the Andhra Pradesh assembly about the murder of the city commissioner Ramakrishnan, who was investigating a case of illegal dumping of medical and electronic waste. The home minister proposes to appoint Singam as the new DCP of Vizag by order of the CBI. Singam arrives in Vizag and pretends to be a corrupt cop, while secretly probing the murder case. He is followed by Vidya, a journalist who wants to write a story on him.
Singam soon discovers that Ramakrishnan was killed by Madhusudhana Reddy, a local don who runs the illegal dumping business in India with the help of Rajeev Krishna, the owner of Vizag Scraps. The waste is imported from Australia by Vittal Prasad, a powerful businessman and politician who is also the commercial minister of Australia. Vittal Prasad is supported by his father Ram Prasad, who is the union minister of India.
Singam decides to expose and stop their nefarious activities, which have caused serious health and environmental issues in Vizag and other parts of India. He also learns that his wife Kavya's father Mahalingam, a reputed industrialist, is also involved in the scam and has been blackmailed by Vittal Prasad. Singam faces many challenges and obstacles from Reddy's goons, Rajeev's men, Vittal's henchmen, and corrupt officials. He also has to deal with his personal life and his relationship with Kavya and Vidya.
How will Singam overcome all these difficulties and bring justice to Ramakrishnan and the people of Vizag? How will he confront Vittal Prasad and his father Ram Prasad? How will he save Mahalingam and his family from their clutches? How will he handle his love triangle with Kavya and Vidya? These are some of the questions that are answered in the movie.
The Good
The action scenes
One of the main attractions of Singham 3 is the action scenes that are executed with style and flair by director Hari and actor Suriya. The movie is full of adrenaline-pumping sequences that showcase Singam's bravery, strength, and skills. Some of the highlights are:
The car chase
In one of the early scenes, Singam chases down a truck carrying illegal waste from Vizag Scraps. He jumps from one vehicle to another, dodges bullets and explosions, and finally stops the truck by smashing it with a crane.
The fight with the villain
In one of the climactic scenes, Singam confronts Vittal Prasad in his mansion in Sydney. He fights his way through dozens of guards and reaches Vittal's room. There he engages in a fierce hand-to-hand combat with Vittal, who is also a trained martial artist. The fight is intense and brutal, with both men exchanging blows and kicks.
The climax
In the final scene, Singam returns to India with Vittal Prasad as his prisoner. He lands at Hyderabad airport, where he is greeted by a huge crowd of supporters and media. He also meets Kavya, Vidya, Mahalingam, Ramakrishnan's wife and daughter, and his colleagues. He then takes Vittal Prasad to Ramakrishnan's memorial statue and makes him confess his crimes in front of everyone. He then shoots him dead on the spot.
The performances
Another strength of Singham 3 is the performances by the lead and supporting actors. They bring life and charisma to their characters and make them memorable. Some of the notable performances are:
Suriya as Durai Singham
```html Anushka Shetty as Kavya Mahalingam

Anushka Shetty reprises her role as Kavya Mahalingam, Singam's wife and Mahalingam's daughter. She plays a supportive and caring partner to Singam, who often worries about his safety and well-being. She also has a few emotional scenes with her father, who is trapped in Vittal Prasad's web of deceit.

Shruti Haasan as Vidhya Ramakrishnan

Shruti Haasan plays Vidhya Ramakrishnan, a journalist who follows Singam to Vizag and tries to get close to him. She initially acts as a bubbly and flirtatious girl who has a crush on Singam, but later reveals her true identity and motive. She also helps Singam in his investigation and becomes his ally.

Thakur Anoop Singh as Vittal Prasad

Thakur Anoop Singh plays Vittal Prasad, the main antagonist of the film. He is a ruthless and arrogant businessman and politician who runs an international crime syndicate that deals with illegal dumping of waste. He is also a martial arts expert who challenges Singam to a fist fight. He delivers a menacing performance as the villain who stops at nothing to achieve his goals.

The Bad

The length and pace

One of the main drawbacks of Singham 3 is the length and pace of the film. The film runs for more than two and a half hours, which is too long for an action film. The film also suffers from a slow and dragging first half, which takes too much time to establish the characters and the plot. The film picks up speed only in the second half, when Singam goes to Australia to confront Vittal Prasad.

The songs and comedy

Another weakness of Singham 3 is the songs and comedy that are forced into the film. The songs are mostly unnecessary and hamper the flow of the film. The songs are also not very catchy or memorable, except for the title track 'Singham'. The comedy scenes are also not very funny or relevant, and mostly involve Soori and Robo Shankar making silly jokes or getting beaten up by Singam.

The logic and realism

A third flaw of Singham 3 is the lack of logic and realism in some of the scenes and situations. The film often defies logic and common sense in its depiction of Singam's actions and abilities. For example, Singam manages to travel from India to Australia in a matter of hours without any visa or passport issues. He also manages to hack into Vittal Prasad's network with ease and access his confidential data. He also survives multiple gunshots, explosions, and falls without any major injuries. The film also shows some unrealistic scenes like Singam lifting a car with one hand, or jumping from one building to another without any support.

Conclusion

Summary of the review

Singham 3 is an action-packed film that showcases Suriya's performance as Durai Singam, a fearless and honest cop who takes on a powerful crime syndicate. The film has some thrilling action scenes, impressive performances, and a fast-paced plot that keeps the audience engaged. However, the film also has some drawbacks like a lengthy runtime, unnecessary songs and comedy, and illogical and unrealistic scenes that affect its overall quality.

Rating and recommendation

We give Singham 3 a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. We recommend this film to fans of Suriya and action films who enjoy watching high-octane sequences and larger-than-life characters. However, we also advise them to keep their expectations low and not look for logic or realism in this film.
